Suhasini Kejriwal

Born in 1973, this talented cotemporary artist completed her B.F.A. from Parsons School of Design, New York (1998), Post-graduate Diploma from Goldsmith's College, London University (1999), before proceeding to study M.F.A. at Goldsmith's College, London University (2005-06). Among her selected exhibitions are the ones at Art Brussels, Grusenmeyer Gallery, Brussels (2007); Celeste Art Prize Finalist's show, London (2006); 'All that's solid melts into Air', Indar Pasricha Fine Art, London (2006); 'Art Cologne', Grusenmeyer Gallery, Cologne (2006); Nature Morte, New Delhi (solo, 2005); 'Inverted Tree', Gallery Threshold, New Delhi (2005); Galleryske, Bangalore (solo, 2004); 'Secrets – The Spectacle Within', Queens Gallery, British Council, New Delhi (2004); 'Anthology of Art', Groupis – Bau, Berlin (2004); 'The Hues of Bengal', National Gallery of Modern Art, Mumbai (2003), 'Portraits of a Decade', CIMA Gallery, Kolkata (2003) among others. She has won Parsons Honor Scholarship (1995-98) and was Celeste Art Prize Finalist (2006). Suhasini Kejriwal works with photographic images of flowers, picturing them on canvas by an emphatic, omnipresent deployment of a gentle filigree line without beginning or end.
