Born in 1974, the artist received his B.F.A. from the Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S.U. Baroda and a Post Diploma in painting from the same university. He then received Inlaks Foundation award as well as a fellowship at Kanoria Centre for Arts, Ahmedabad. He has also been awarded by Gujarat Lalit Kala Academy. He took part in `Millennium All India Young Artists’ a painting camp by AIFACS, New Delhi. He has featured in several group shows in Mumbai, Baroda, Ahmedabad, Goa and other leading cities of India. His work was invited in Dhaka Biennale as well, and was showcased at 11th Triennale, India. Hindol Brahmbhatt’s artistic process revolves around attainment of thematic and stylistic unity. Its broad objective is to form a language that calls for continuity and intuition. The artist lives and works in Ahmedabad.
