These three books are from the Collection of Sir Adolphus Fitz-George and signed by him on the first page. On the cover, embossed is an union jack along with the book’s name in a unique rope style lettering and with the author’s name embossed. The spine has the book’s name, volume, author’s name and a vignette of a sailor on the lookout, all executed in gold.
The three volumes contain a descriptive account of the various regiments comprising the Queen’s forces. Volume three focuses solely on Her Majesty’s Indian and Colonial forces.
