This lot comprises of one stamp affixed on an1857 envelope to England, franked with 1854 4a blue and rose-red, cut to shape, 4th printing, Head III Frame II tied by UMBALA numeral " 259" in diamond of bars also " stamped" in manuscript and box framed "INDIA PAID" twice and " TOO LATE", reverse bears despatch mark Umbala 7 Feb 1857, Bombay 11 Feb 1857 and receiving mark YORK MR2O 1857. Front bears tomb type PAID 20 MR 20 1857 in red.
