The highly versatile duo are known to work collaboratively with a wide range of media including painting, sculpture, installations, interactive games, video, performance and design. Their work explores the current issues in urban India and the fascination with consumerism. Characterised by vibrant imagery and exuberant colours, they are known for creating highly immersive and interactive environments meant to push the boundaries of art, creating new formats of public engagement.
The themes of migration along with mythological narratives formed the inspiration for their earlier work. The visual syntax of their work has evolved over the years with socio-political commentary gradually becoming a key aspect of their work. They playfully combine fantasy and reality, achieving a powerful dialogue between the high-culture tropes of society and the symbols of Indian identity embedded within.
The duo has received numerous awards and also exhibited at various galleries and art fairs in India and internationally. Both the artists live and work in New Delhi.
