Mumbai-based auction house AstaGuru is all set for the second edition of its ‘Opulent Collectibles’ which will take place on their online platform from January 27-28.
‘Opulent Collectibles’ is a display of craftsmanship from all across the world; putting history, heritage and elegance together. The collection includes rare antiques and collectibles from the 19th and 20th centuries, procured from regions including India, China, Japan, France, Italy and the UK.
Among the many lots, the upcoming auction comprises antique ceramics, furniture, crystal chandeliers, silverware, Persian carpets, and vintage clocks, to name a few.
One of the noteworthy collections include an impressive selection of objects from the Estate of The Late Muncherji N Cama. A director of India’s oldest running newspaper, Mumbai Samachar, and a former trustee of the Bombay Parsi Punchayat, Mr. Cama was a philanthropist and an appreciator of art. He was also a passionate collector with an impressive collection of antique relics.
