Born in 1960 in Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh, the artist A Rajeshwara Rao earned his Bachelor’s degree from Andhra University, Waltair, in 1983, and later pursued his Master’s degree at Central University, Hyderabad, graduating in 1990
Rao's artistic narrative revolves around the theme of transition Using a quaint and humorous approach, he highlights the profound impact of popular media on our culture Through his paintings, Rao portrays the aspirations of ordinary people and delves into the psychological desires of the physical self His compositions are characterised by magnificence, quirkiness, and meticulous attention to detail The artist's vibrant palette complements the intricate weave of lines and forms, creating a dynamic and vivid visual experience
