An oil on canvas by Subodh Gupta achieved 3,77,27,163 INR, while Sir Anish Kapoor’s large Mirror installation fetched 6,50,96,485 INR.

With over a decade of experience across curatorial practice, research, publishing, and exhibition-making, he works closely with artists, estates, collectors, and institutions across the Indian art ecosystem. Siddharth’s expertise spans Bengal modernism, Santiniketan practices, narrative-driven contemporary art, and artist archives. He works across curatorial strategy, institutional collaborations, artist relations, and strategic sourcing, with a particular focus on historically layered and research-oriented practices emerging from Bengal and Kerala. Prior to joining AstaGuru, Siddharth worked with organisations including Kolkata Centre for Creativity, Gallery Rasa, Bengal Biennale, and Articulate. His experience spans exhibition-making, curatorial research, catalogue writing, publishing, artist engagement, and public programming within the visual arts ecosystem. Siddharth has authored essays and reviews for publications including Art India, The Telegraph, The Wire, Art & Deal, and The Hindu Business Line. His work reflects a sustained engagement with regional modernisms, artist archives, and the evolving relationship between curatorial research and the Indian art market.
