Anand Prakash
Anand Prakash (born September 15, 1981) is an Indian contemporary visual artist from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. He completed his foundational education at the University of Allahabad, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 2001 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2006, followed by a Master of Fine Arts from Raja Mansingh Tomar Music and Arts University in Gwalior in 2013. His artistic practice explores the relationship between the tangible and the intangible, merging philosophical inquiry, psychological impressions, and formal abstraction.

His paintings combine geometric structures, lyrical abstraction, and textured color fields. Working primarily with acrylics on canvas, Prakash balances fluid marks with geometric forms, exploring transitions between concrete representation and pure abstraction. His visual language emphasizes space, movement, and the continuous flow of time, creating contemplative compositions intended to engage the conscious and subconscious perceptions of the viewer.

Anand Prakash has presented his work in solo and group exhibitions across India, including solo presentations at Bharat Bhavan in Bhopal, the Indian Council for Cultural Relations regional gallery in Bhopal, and Triveni Kala Sangam in New Delhi. His paintings are held in several public and institutional collections, including Bharat Bhavan in Bhopal, the Uttarayan Art Centre in Vadodara, and the Govind Ballabh Pant Social Science Institute in Allahabad.
