Born in Garidepally village, Suryapet district of Telangana in 1976, artist Anjaneyulu Gundu started his career as a painter of commercial sign boards with his brothers He then studied fine arts at the JNTU ( Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University) and passed in 2000

Anjaneyulu adheres to the form of realism and articulates still life imagery that brings about a certain harmony of colour, order and depth in his works displays Realistic to the degree of tangibility of the motifs he adopts, his works are evident of his absolute submission to skill and craftsmanship Works such as ‘Bombay Sapphire’ and ‘Old Stove’ have been exhibited at the Saatchi gallery amongst others
