(b 1969) Chowdhury did his BFA and MFA in Painting from MS University, Baroda He was the recipient of the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant, Canada, and the Ravi Jain Award, New Delhi His solo shows include `Veneered Images` at Prithvi Gallery(2000), `Considering The Forgotten` at Nazar Art Gallery, Baroda (1998), `Portraying the Familiar` at Triveni, New Delhi and `Beyond Visions` in Mumbai (1997) His group shows include `West Zone Artists` at Tao Art Gallery, Mumbai (2001) and `Kunst und Brot` (Art and Bread) in Hamburg, Germany (2000)
