G R Iranna received his Bachelor`s degree in Fine Arts from the College of Visual Art, Gulbarga, in Karnataka, in 1992 In 1994 he received a Master`s Degree in Painting from the College of Art, Delhi In 1999-2000 he was the artist-in-residence at the Wimbledon School of Art, London He has participated in exhibitions at Gallery Espace, Delhi, 2000, the Maulana Azad Center for Indian Culture, Cairo, 2000, Gallery Martini, Hong Kong, 1999, Shridharani Art Gallery and Delhi Art Gallery, Delhi, 1998, Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai and with Saffronart and The Guild Gallery, Mumbai, 2004 Iranna lives and works in Delhi
