Born in 1992, K R Nariman, an artist, recently completed her Master of Fine Arts degree (MFA) at Wimbledon College of Arts, University of the Arts, London Her artistic journey was significantly shaped during a two-year stint at the studio of KS Radhakrishnan, where she refined her casting skills before pursuing her master's degree in London

Her research is centred on the urgent issues of environmental depletion and the looming extinction of various cohabiting species The pervasive threats to the environment, driven by unchecked waste generation and technological advancements, pose substantial risks to wildlife and the overall ecosystem Intrigued by the fractal nature of Earth and its diverse species, Nariman endeavours to use her art as a poignant reminder that human lifestyles and actions can adversely affect other living beings and the environment Her work in this field reflects a commitment to preserving the symbiotic relationship among humans, nature, and animals

While specialising in bronze casting, Nariman also explores different materials such as metal, wood, and ceramics She gained valuable experience through internships with renowned figures like metal sculptor Arzan Khambatta and Padma Shri awardee Sudarshan Sahoo Additionally, she honed her skills in ceramics at Blue Pottery in Delhi

Nariman's artistic prowess has earned her recognition, including a nomination for Wildlife Artist of the Year 2019, a shortlisting for the Clifford Chance Sculpture Award, and a fourth-place award for the 3D category at the 9th All Women Art Exhibition by Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery in 2020 She has also participated in numerous group shows in London, with notable exhibitions such as the Royal Society of British Artists Annual Exhibition 2019 and the Society of Women's Artists Annual Exhibition 2019
