Born in 1957 in Kakkoor, N N Rimzon is known for his works with different mediums like fibreglass, metal and stone He completed his BA in sculpture from the College of Fine Arts in 1982, Trivandrum and specialized in sculpting from M S University, Baroda in 1984 Inspired by Ramkinker Baij his works consisted of minimalistic human disfiguration amidst disrupted expression Rimzon’s work went on to be rooted in specific class forms which made them comparatively simpler and with a stronger imaginative hold In a world of increasing contrasts, he wishes to restore a basic wholeness
