Kallat graduated from Sir JJ School of Art in 1996 She has had many solo exhibitions of her works including the ones at Gallery Chemould, Mumbai (2004), and at the Sakshi Gallery, Bangalore (2003) Her works have also been included in several group exhibitions at The Guild Gallery (2002), Gallery Chemould`s 40th anniversary, National Gallery of Modern Art, Mumbai (2003), Thomas Erben Gallery, New York (2004) and Saffronart and The Guild Gallery (2004) Kallat has also been the recipient of several awards, including the Gladstone Solomon Award for Painting She works and lives in Mumbai
