Rudragaud Indi
Born in 1979, Rudragaud Indi is a contemporary Indian artist from Bengaluru Through his art, he expresses his concerns with nature and society; commenting on the various social and political issues Urbanisation is a steady theme in his fantasy-scape works featuring flying cars floating in space, watermelon tea set, half completed bridges, mushrooms sprouting out of a head, and other subjects

The artist has worked on several mediums including water on paper, acrylic on canvas, acrylic and mirror on canvas, and steels sheets to create his work Admirers and collectors have expressed their deep admiration for the artist's creative vision and style

Indi has received several awards for his art including the Camlin annual art and design content (2020), Shenoy Art Foundation Emerging Artist Award Bengaluru (2018), Tilak All India Art competition, Pune, Maharashtra (2007) 'Alice in Wonderland', at Gallery Beyond, Mumbai, in 2008 was his first solo show He participated in numerous solo and group exhibition including ‘Pincode’, Painting on postcard, Curated by Sri Giridhar Khasnis, Bengaluru (2023), ‘Spectrum’, by Archer art gallery, Ahmedabad (2023), ‘A Movable Feast’, by idiographic, at Bikaner house, New Delhi (2022); ‘Manthana’, Art Exhibition at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, Bengaluru; ‘Action of Thoughts’, Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath Bengaluru, India, and more
