Santosh Jain is a self-taught veteran artist known for her work on different mediums including lithographs, collages, paintings, and photographs She received a fellowship in Printmaking from the Government of India and studied at Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam for two years After her return to India, she continued creating art and also started teaching it to others She was the Head of the Department of Arts, at DPS, Vasant Kunj

The artist's creative process is intuitive and all her works are single editions A storyteller at heart, Santosh weaves each story that needs to be told due to personal reasons or because it influences her which needs to be heard Through her canvas and photographs, she narrates the stories of love, joy, loss, pain, and longing from different parts of the world

She has presented her works at various solo and group shows including ‘Pushing Boundaries’ solo OVR at Terrainart (2023), ‘She’s In The Streets, She’s In The Stars’ at The Method, Kala Ghoda, Mumbai (2021), Photography Mixed Media at Together 2023, Lalit Kala Akademi (2023), among others Jain has been honoured with several awards including the BC Sanyal Award for Excellence in Art and Education, by Delhi Collage of Art, New Delhi (2016), AIIFACS in Photography (2013), Kala Shri Award by AIFACS (1999), and more in recognition of her contribution to art
