Tarpan Patel was born on the 6th of April in 1985 He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Arts with a specialization in sculpture from the Maharaja Sayajirao University He then went to London and got his Post Graduate Diploma in Fine Arts at the Chelsea College of Art and Design He got his Master’s in Fine Arts from the same institution One of the first shows that he participated in was the State Lalit Kala Akademi student exhibition held in 2003 He recently also participated in a group exhibition held at Jehangir Art Gallery in 2018 His preferred material for making sculptures is fibre glass
