The Cartier Concealed Dial’ movement was commissioned by the brand to the world famous Jaeger-LeCoultre during the 1930’s & 1940’s. Fine, rare and highly unusual, rectangular discreet case has a sliding concealed spring loaded hatch when slid up reveals the striking matte silver (fausses cotes decoration) Cartier dial which is rhodium plated. Crafted unique blued Spade hands for hours and minutes. Sitting on an aftermarket leather strap attached to a solid 18k yellow Cartier gold deployant clasp. Watch is substantially used and in fair overall condition. Case, dial, clasp, movement branded and signed.
