Enduring Ornaments : Celebrating Diverse & Bold Bracelets Through Time
Kaavya Pillai | 17 May, 2023
The earliest examples of bracelets and cuffs can be seen in Mesopatamia in 2500 B.C. Ancient Egypt too held bracelets in high regard with extremely ornate cuffs that often had charms attached to them. These ornaments can be seen evolving through history, cultures and geographies including Greece, China and bangles in India. Today, bracelets are one of the most staple yet diverse pieces of jewellery that can mould themselves to complement any wardrobe. While they often transform with the trends of the time, many pieces also take inspiration from the global craftsmanship and styles of the past.
Presented below are some unique and spectacular bracelets that will be part of AstaGuru’s upcoming auction.
