Anish Kapoor, a renowned sculptor with British-Indian heritage, was born in Mumbai, India, in 1954. His most revered series of small-scale sculptures are the stainless steel discs he creates, that reflect the viewer and distort the images it reflects.

Among his many diverse series, one of his most acclaimed is his series of stainless steel discs that manipulate and distort what they reflect. The various treatments used on these discs change the distortions, encouraging its viewers to not only interact with them but also contemplate their image.

Anish Kapoor has exhibited his works widely throughout the world.
