AstaGuru’s upcoming ‘Opulent Heritage’ auction will present rare and exceptional antiques showcasing the best craftsmanship from across the globe. The catalogue includes works from the 19th and 20th centuries such as furniture, ceramics, silver, carpets, vintage clocks, crystal chandeliers, and other rare collectibles. Following are the highlights from the upcoming auction:
Lot No. 213: A Khorassan Wool Carpet

The presented lot was crafted in the traditional style of northeastern Iran’s Khorassan province, this elegant rug features a dark sisal ground adorned with a striking central floral medallion in twilight blue. Intricately designed floral spandrels complement the floral field, while ornate floral borders frame the piece.
Lot No. 27: A Brilliant Eight-Light Floor Chandelier by F & C Osler

The presented lot was executed in 1890 by the famed glassmaking company F & C Osler. It features original Osler shades, a minaret pinnacle, nine crystal pendants suspended from each light, and a central column supported by a base terminating in five claw feet.
Lot No. 178: A Victorian Period English Hallmarked Five-Light Candelabrum With Plateau by Edward & John Barnard, London

An English hallmark candelabra, this presented lot is adorned with intricate carvings of flowers, volutes, arabesques, and foliage. It features elegantly curved arms radiating from a central bouquet of flowers, and the main stem is beautifully embellished with foliage motifs.
Lot No. 142: An Elegant Rosewood And Porcelain Vitrine

The presented lot is an elegant rosewood and porcelain vitrine executed circa 1880. This vitrine is fitted with KPM panels, gilt/ormolu mounts, and painted porcelain plaques. The cabinet stands on four multipart porcelain toupie feet and is surmounted by a floral crested crown.
Lot No. 217: A Winter Egg (ED: 570/750) by Theo Fabergé

The presented lot is a cobalt blue crystal glass egg with holly accents. It was created utilising crystal, sterling silver, 18 and 24k gold, ruby, and enamel by Theo Faberge´, grandson to the renowned Russian jeweller and goldsmith, Peter Carl Fabergé.
